Jerusalem - Three Religions
Uploaded: November 23, 2010 22:02:06
King David's Tomb in Mount Zion, Jerusalem, Israel. The second floor is believed to be the room where the last supper took place (now a Franciscan monastery).
In 1524, the Ottoman ruler, Sulieman the Magnificent, seized control of the whole complex of vaulted passages and buildings, called it al-Nabi Da'ud (the Prophet David), and partly modified it for use as a mosque.
