Finalist
I took this ceiling shot in the main entry hall of the chateau at Chenonceau. It wasn't as high as it looks which helped immensely with the lighting but made including enough for a nice pov a challenge. I got as low as I dared in the circumstances--really wanted to lie down on my back but all the other tourists would have had to step over me--and still wasn't happy so I finally laid my camera on its back and took a bunch of shots blind.

Well it sure turned out fabulous Nikki. I know what you mean about those pesky tourists getting in the way. Shame on them. I just hate that. You prevailed over monumental odds and came up with the goods and I love the lines, light and tones. Well done. #4885496Jeana Clark October 05, 2007
